For Whom The Bell Tolls

For Whom The Bell Tolls

A Poem by Kitsue
"

Wrote on a whim

"

For whom the bell tolls,
Upon the night of last prayers
Its melancholy notes ringing eerily within the night.
Dong~ Dong~ Dong~

For whom the bell tolls,
In the lonely deserted streets where not even the rats cross.
The bell sings its deathly song.
Dong~ Dong~ Dong~

For whom the bell tolls.
It tolls for thee as you sleep in your bed.
Each pound of the hammer tearing into your soul.
Dong~ Dong~ Dong~
