The pain of it all

The pain of it all

A Poem by Kitsue
"

Justa poem I wrote about a shadow trapped in everyone elses pain/

"

They left
They’re gone
No longer here to comfort the soul
That knows the pain of it all

They smile widely
Abandoning the depression Arcadia
Leaving the broken soul
Who knows the pain of it all

They came with the storm
Riding the winds torrents
Because they started to understand
Understand the pain of it all

The pain of it all
Is the anger felt towards backstabbers
The hatred that builds and recedes
The fear of being abandoned ant left

The pain of it all
Is the use and abuse
The trials and the fails
The destruction and the loss

But eventually they shove it away
Eventually is bury it
Eventually they try to hide it
Try to hide the pain of the house

Some come back
Others pass with a sympathetic glance
Most never return
To learn more about the pain of it all

But this shadow
This broken, torn, pain-filled shadow
Tries to embrace its home
Embrace the pain of it all

But this shadow
This kind, loving, caring shadow
Is left to drown and flounder
In the pain of it all

Pain, Hatred, anger, sadness
Drip down from the dark ceiling
Constricting the heart that cries for comfort
As it’s tortured by the pain of it all

Warmth, care, love, desire
Cannot penetrate the dark net
But provide a rope for escape
From the pain of it all

But the shadow
The sad, loveless, nobody shadow
Is left alone
In the heartless pain of it all
