Chapter 9

A Chapter by Kitsue

Low woke up with a head ache. The group had surrounded him with concerned faces.

“Are you okay?” Arlette asked. He was really concerned. “Did the Demon put a spell on you, curse you or what? I'll kill her if she did.”

“Calm down, let him regain himself.” Lukil whispered. “Thats not the woman I saw, she's different.”

“She's mad.” Arless said.

“Exactly.” Arlette whispered. “But, despite that I understood her.” He covered his eyes. “The words she spoke were a mix of both the black and white oracles, chaos and unity cannot exist in on solid being they go mad, but what they say is precisely what they mean. What he seeks is in the realm of darkness. Thats what I gathered over all. So we must enter the realm of demons to seek his memories.”

“Thats what you got out of that bunch of riddled words.” Arless asked. “I didn't understand anything thing she freakin said.”

“Thats what I was guessing at as well.” Lukil whispered. “Though I think we should find the real red oracle.”

“That was her.” Low said shivering. “Two forces are warring in her right now, telling her two different things, she's slowing going insane and soon she will die. I pray she passes in peace.” Low shivered again rubbing his hands along his arms to banish the shill left by the mad old woman. He looked at his companions.

“We leave to darkness, but I rather not.” Arlette said. “I knew we shouldn't have gotten caught up with you you little twit. But I guess, this is our adventure.”

Arless sighed. “This wont be easy, I mean the dark realm, who knows what lies in wait there. I sure as hell don't want to go, but, hunters are always looking for more game to hunt so I'll think of this as a new experience.”

“I've never ventured into the dark before. I wonder what rumors about it are true.” Lukil said moving closer to Low.

“So, we'll travel into the dark to recover my memories.” Low asked looking at them they nodded. “So be it, maybe when I do find my memories the word of that insane woman would make sense.”
