Chapter 7

Chapter 7

A Chapter by Kitsue

Under a luminous moon, Low found himself wandering. The feel of the moon beams a gentle warmth in the light chill of night. His eyes were blank as he listened to the voice in his head guiding him from the village to a pleasant lake where he found a small letter. It was folded neatly and written in a fine script.

Low kneeled to pick it up. His eyes cleared as he read the name. “Shuan, Lettare Dersira.” Low understood the words, though he didn't know how.

Request, Light Council.

Low opened the letter and read

Council of Light,

My name is Drea, Dark weaver, I have come to bid safety for my unborn child. Our own doctors have determined he wouldn't live within the dark realms. Please so mercy on uis and grant my child his life he is innocent and should grow up to live a health strong life. I'll even forfeit my life for that of my child, please show mercy.

He folded the note and looked at it's condition, it was old that was for sure, it had survived in the area for years. By the looks of it, it was never delivered to the council of light.

I wonder what happened to them. Low thought to himself as he started walking back.

“You shouldn't wander around out here this late kid.” The prostitute whispered. She was staring at the ground.

“Why?” Low asked.

“Even te light has its terrors. More so than the dark.” The woman looked at him. “There are thngs that travel around here that'll scare a dark denizen beast, y'know.”

“Thanks for the tip.” Low said as he started into the inn.

“Wait, please.” She whispered. Low looked at her. “Tell me, do you think I will be allowed back? In the dark realm I mean. I ran away years ago, from my mom and dad. Do you think they'd forgive such a foolish child?”

Low blinked a her. “I'm not sure why your asking me but, yeah probably, they would. I bet they're worried about you right now.”

She nodded. “Thank you.”
