They reached a small village that had only a small inn and several shady stores.
“Hey babe, you in need of more womanly company?” A woman in very little clothing stepped from an alley way. Her eyes were a soft gold, hair a deep brown, and skin paler than the moon.
Arlette took a step towards her. Low cut him off. “No offense ma'am, but we're here on business. Find someone else.”
She stroked a hand down Low's cheek. “Call on me later, cutie, when your here on pleasure.”
Low nodded and walked towards the the broken inn. When he walked in the hostess, dressed in even less clothing then the woman outside, looked up with a warm smile.
“Hey young man, you here for pleasure my dear?”
“I am.” Low said with a smile.
Arlette looked at him shocked.
“The company I seek is with an elderly woman, blind. And wheres red robes. Is she in this town.”
“Old Dala? She left to the Dew Village a month ago. Poor dear was mumbling something or another of a village in deep trouble. Shame a lot of villages are in trouble.” The women crossed her arms beneath her large breast.
“The Dew Village?”
“Two days trip to the west. Though I wouldn't go over there, it's way to close to the Dark Realm, I'd say it's no more then a couple hundred miles away. Dala, said something about traveling there but, the old coot, wont last a minute in that horrid real.”
“We'd like to rest here for the night.” Low said.
“Sure hun.” She looked at him crossly. “If your in need of an Oracle, try heading to Lake Spring, they have a pair that'll be better then Old Dala. At least they still have some sense in their heads. She still thinks she plays chess with a forest god.” She laughed as she handed Low the keys. “Anyway pleasant dreams and just pull the robe for a 'message' okay.”
“Okay.” Low said with a charming smile.
