Never Ending War

Never Ending War

A Poem by Kitsue

Through this,

You shall prevail.

Through all of this,

Gun and cannon hail

Carried by your mission,

Driven by fear.

Theres nothing to see,

nothing to hear.

In the past,

laughter and joy.

In the future,

Screams and an endless void.

No words to speak,

No voice to talk.

No chance to move,

No legs to walk.

Crawl from one point,

Run to another.

Watch someone die,

Maybe a brother.

Heart race,

Eyes dart.

Drum pounding,

Or maybe your heart.

Vibration in your hands,

Another man down.

Loud explosions,

Something upon your crown.

Eyes open,

Around you see,

A gentle face,

Sleeping quietly.

Medication wipes the dream.

Water washes down the fear.

Eyes close to darkness

Quiet breathing is all you hear.

Terrorist comes toward me,
try to run,
cannot flee,
b*****d pulls out a gun,
I start to beg,
it doesn't work,
took my leg,
what a f*****g jerk,
pretend i'm dead,
draws him near,
I stab his head,
eyes show fear,
holds him tight,
blood falls,
can hardly fight,
...and that was all...

Don't ryme good but oh well! Yours was way better then mine...but I tried...
