Never ending war

Never ending war

A Poem by Kitsue

Through this
I shall prevail
Through all of this
Gun and Cannon hail

Carried by my mission
Driven by fear
There is nothing I see
Theres nothing I hear

Crawl from one place
Run to another
ANother man falls
Maybe my brother

Blood races
Allies blown apart
Drum pounding
Maybe my heart

No chance to speak
No voice to talk
No chance to move
No legs to walk

Vibration in my hands
Another enemy down
Sudden explosion
Something upon my crown

My eyes open to darkness
Around I see
A gentle face
Sleeping quietly

Meds cure the memory
Alchohol washes down fear
Eyes close to darkness
Quiet breathing is all i hear
