Depression

Depression

A Poem by Kitsue
"

Was listening to an instrumenta and I put words to it out of boredom

"

So much sadness

So much fear

So much anger

Living here

Children don't know

The meaning of love

They just long

For it's touch

Cries of hatred

Cries of pain

Whispering here

Once again

Shall I tell you

What I know

Will you stay

Or go

I listen to

All of those tears

As they echo

In the dark

Shall I tell you

What I know

Please listen

Before you go

I can't stand

All of this pain

I just want

To fade away

The sadness and yearning for someone to be there is really strong. The words paid such a picture of loneliness that it's quite sad, but makes the poem all that much better. It's simple but exceptional, I really do love it :)

The feel and tone of sadness is very evident in your poem. The sadness just seems to grow with overpowering melancholy. I sure do feel the pain. I really do.
