Deaths Touch

Deaths Touch

A Poem by Kitsue
"

A poem I wrote one day maybe a couple years ago

"
I feel death upon my chest
A warm beast
Caressing my soul
Proving I am blessed

I feel the chill down my spine
Chasing out the pride
Removing the lies
Filling me with sweet calm

Oh his lips on mine
Stilling my breath
 Making my racing heart still
His arms close around me

His eyes are caring
His voice soothing
Easing me as I fall
In the warmth of the oblivion

The night turns to day
The moon kisses my flesh no longer
And I stare up into the light
I cry and beg again

Death turns from me
My time continues
Yet as I lay upon the cold ground
Heated under the sun

My only thoughts
My only desire
Is to be touched again
Be touched by the loving hands of death
