Ghost he be, popular name given. Not thee Casper, For he dreams amongst the living.
Float obscure, frighten friend to foe. Kind eyes lie, He was friendly though.
Approach him yet to back away. Cut some slack; NO! Comrade stay. Throw white sheets, with berry stain, Thee society expected day. Feeling not, the hit on pot. His color fades to grey.
Ghost he be, destroy his name. The haunt of fame, narcotic blame. He caspers not but floats in shame.
I like your poem. Great choice of topic and a very interesting take on Casper the Friendly Ghost. It flows well and has a good rhythm.
Just one note though, the spelling of Grey is incorrect. When you spell it with an 'e' is in reference to one's surname. When referencing the colour, it is spelled with an 'a', hence, gray.
There is a huge debate about which is the correct spelling, however, if you do a quick search you will find that what I have said is accurate. It is so easy to confuse the two because of the debate and I had to do a bit of research many years ago to figure out which is the correct spelling for the colour gray. Anyway, great job!
