UnFair

UnFair

A Poem by Drama Child

 Unfair

You loved me so hard, creating the greatest pain I ever knew.

I didn’t know what love was until I came upon you.

It was never there, so I never missed it, the feeling was new.

And it threw back, the unstoppable, my anger grew.

It wasn’t meant for you, but for you I served it cold

My feelings were raw, but the crimes before you so old.

The feeling you gave was innocent, but exploded the lie I was told.

Because you loved me, causing chaos like storm clouds I rolled.

It’s unfair, I scream ignorance to the comfort of night

It’s unfair, I break from a sob holding too tight.

It’s unfair to lose when I thought I already won this fight.

It’s unfair that you love me, and now for you I’m not right.

Author's Note

Drama Child
One of my pieces I refer to as "School Girl Diary".
Once upon a time these words were truer then true, and in poem they now remain.

As always, comments, criticism are always welcomed.
