The forgotton.

The forgotton.

A Poem by Tatiana Casali

How could these walls have fallen between us?

Tearing apart our very own heart.

Pouring in with all this sadness.

Not a sound I hear, not a whisper, not a beat.

Did time forget us?

Did you?

Alot has happened since you went away.

 My eyes grew bigger.

My mind became tougher, stronger then Titanium but weaker then your reminisced words.

I sit behind the trees, I close my eyes and I listen.

I hear the sounds of the leaves orchestrating its way into my ears.

And suddenly the shift in the air changes and I am awake again.

Too long to contain.

Too tired to remain.

My words are my words, not yours and not hers.

Half of me has left.

The other still stays.

As Time slowly goes away.

My heart will forever continue to fade.
