Fighting the inevitable

Fighting the inevitable

A Poem by Dragon Witch
"

A humorous take on children.

"

There he sits upon the couch

Rifling his hands through his thick hair

Fighting the inevitable.

He will not cede

But pulls his hair gently trying to overcome it

Mouth a gaping "o"

Oh how how he wants to win

Head nodding gently

Then it whips up and pretends that nothing went awry

His plan is working

Windows of wonder wide open!!!

Till plop there he falls

Sound asleep where he sat a minute ago

Fighting sleep

Like all children we know.

That is really cute and humorous... children are a riot and quite an inspiration. A delightful little read.
