The little voice....

The little voice....

A Poem by Dragon Witch

Mommy!

A little voice getting bigger.

Quietly creeping so as not to be detected.

Like you could miss it!

On little pitter patter feet

They stumble to your room.

Mommy....I'm scared!

Oh that voice we know so well

All soft and feint

I love you baby.

Little body cuddles in for embrace of safety

you hold it close

whispering assurances as you go

Lifting little soul so precious

returning to your haven

A little room

Of little things.

Made for little hands and feet.

Half asleep now

gently lay you down

cuddle you into your bed

Pull up the covers

shelter from all

sleep tight little angel

No more nightmares tonight.

Lulling sweetness..your words have a peaceful effect
on the heart" as if whispering a dream to the reader's
heart, the getnle form justifies your thoughts. Lovely~
