Paradis Fever

(Paradis pronounced Paradee)

I must go to Paradis again, and see my Grandparent’s eyes,

And all I need is permission and time without surprise;

And feel the sun’s warmth and cool breeze mixed in perfection,

And wandering carelessly about in the fields no matter the direction.

I must go to Paradis again, together with my cousins,

And we get to eat my grandmother’s delicious pies and muffins.

We use our creativity and do things when we have the chance,

Like creating a roofless cabin using more than one branch.

I must go to Paradis again, and see my whole family,

Where we all join up every year and everything is merry,

They say you don’t fully appreciate something until it’s gone, but I tend to disagree,

Life already gives good and bad things but the good things stretch out like a tree.

About
I'm a 14 year old guy. I don't really write a lot, only when an idea comes to mind and I can remember it. Most of my short stories are written in about 2 hours or less. I may come up with some tragedi.. more..
