Advice

Advice

A Poem by .::$h円€R€DRø$€::.
"

I recently gave 2 of my good friends advice and they seem to not be listening........ so it gave me the idea to make this.

"
Good Advice:
The paragraph you send to your friend but they just don't get it.

Simple Advice:
The wise words your friends thank you for but then forgets it just as fast as they read it.

Real Advice:
The words your friends don't wanna hear cause they know its true and it just pisses them off.

The "Lie" Advice:
Just telling your friend what they want to hear even though its leading them down the wrong way.

The Nice Advice:
Good things to cheer up your friend so they won't feel so down about then situation.

The Weak Advice:
The things you just say so your friend can go away and shut up.

The Aggressive Advice:
When you know your friend needs help but just not listening to you that you can't help but yell the advice to them.

The Bad Advice:
Advice that your friend will most likely listen to and find themselves in a more worse situation and the blame is all on you.

Which "Advice" are you?

I enjoyed this..

There's a lot of truth.. but this also pertains to.. ADVICE GIVEN TO FRIENDS UNWILLING TO LISTEN.. More so then the objectivity of providing advice to friends. I would actually love to read another version of this, through such objectivity.

But believe me, I've been here.. as I am often THE friend everyone comes to for advice. And sadly, we can only tell them the truth and have good intentions.. It is up to them whether they choose to listen. Unfortunately, we care so much for these people it is hard to watch them ask, but listen with a deaf ear.

great write. thank you for sharing

much love n' respect

I liked this. There's alot of honesty here. Personally, I've never been the kind of person who responds well to advice, so I try not to give any. I prefer to let people make their own mistakes, for two reasons: 1. they learn their lessons more effectively when they f**k up (as opposed to if they had simply taken second-hand advice), and 2. watching other people f**k up makes me feel a little better about my own mistakes. All in all, nicely done with this one.
