DAAAAMMMNNN Collette! This is brilliant.
It all ties together beautifully. I like your format: Italic, Bold, Italic, Bold. It gives a different volume and tone of voice to each line. Though it's a short stanza, it is just as impressive as any long poem I've ever read!
You're really improving in your writing, Collette. You should be proud of this piece--and yourself.
