Going Home

Going Home

A Poem by Collette Paige

I'm going home to a brighter day
But something tells me I shouldn't stay
I spend nights all alone
like some sort of drone
I feel like dead weight
And I can't think straight
Coming home is supposed to be good
Yet all I feel is misunderstood

I dunno, I broke up with my boyfriend, decided I didn't really like him. I thought everything would go back to normal. It has, but the thought is still in the back of my head.
