Let Me Go

Let Me Go

A Poem by Collette Paige

I listen to your voice
but not my choice
you keep me here
with a big sneer
across your face
I feel your embrace
As your fingers interlace
can't you just leave me?
Why can't you see
I'm held here by force
But my voice goes hoarse.

You have killed me.

Author's Note

Collette Paige
uh...it's about rape, actually.
I know its a weird subject, but think about it. People feel this a lot, I'm just trying to let them know I'm trying my best to help them as best as I can.
I have a friend who got raped and I know how hard it is for her.
