Do not disregard

Recent events inspired this poem...it was harsh

 

Disappointed my dear,

You cannot perceive

How dead I am

From this passing.

 

I was told one thing

Then observed another

How could this happen.

I thought there was a reason.

 

I am not a passerby,

Nor am I a stranger.

I am not your stand by lady

For I'm a human being.
