My Diety

My Diety

A Poem by The Ugly Rose

You are no mortal

No flesh and bones

You are my god

You create my sighs and moans

I am but a feeble girl

Not worthy of your love

For I have no courage

I hide in the dark, dank grove

You, the god

Idolise my every feature

Teach me I am not the thing I think

That I am no hideous creature

Unbelievable, that I have your heart

That fragile thing I hold

Just you take dear care of mine

For I don't want it to become cold
