La Paradis

La Paradis

A Poem by The Ugly Rose
"

I wrote this for his birthday. It's the 29th. He's in Ontario, and I miss him like all measures

"

I've never said a word

About those dizzying thoughts

Never uttered a sound

About those amazing events

Here is my lecturne:

The way we writhe

Cry out

And sigh in extacy

How you hold me tight

And kiss my lips

When I push at you

You are always wanting more

More love

More time

More Emma

How those arms find me

Even when it's just in my mind

When you're miles away

I'm always warm

How you said we'd be together

Forever

I want to believe it

I think I already am

Toujour en paradis

This is the kind of poem any writer or artist would love to receive. You have poured a bit of your love and creativity onto the page for someone you care for deeply. I think that is a true testament of feeling and commitment. A poem such as this takes all the good in a relationship and puts it on display for the lover to see. I am glad that I came back to read it tonight.

I like your intro to the lecture of love, that was a nice touch. I also thought it was nice how you listed what he always wanted more of. Well done and happy new year to you.

Lovely Emm :). It's a very beautiful portrait of love. I wouldn't know exactly but it seems to be accurate.

It makes me happy, this is great :D
