MMY BOUGHT ME A NEW DRESS

On sunny spring day

Mommy took me to the mall

And into a dress shop

We looked around

A we did I saw two beautiful dresses

That caught my

One was a beautiful red

The other Aqua blue

Both were wonderful

After looking at mommy

I asked

Can I get both

Mommy said sorry

Little one

I can only

Alford one today

So I chose the Aqua blue dress

and smiled

when I got home from school

3 weeks later

Mommy said

Happy Birthday dear

And took me to my room

she opened the door

and I saw a box on my bed

And looked at mom inquisitive

Mommy said open it up

I opened it

And to my joy

I saw in the Box

I saw the beautiful

Red dress

That I had asked mommy

if we could get when was in the mall

She smiled

As I looked back

at her

She said

Happy birthday

my lovely little one
