I never thought I'd find someone

Till he came into my life

Before my days were lonely

Full of heartache, tears, and strife

But he came along and lifted me up

And tossed my worries to the sea

But it made me think and ponder

Who could ever possibly love me

What did I do to deserve a great love like this

Was I chosen from above

It's like angels sent from heaven

Brought me a precious gift of love

He's my heart, my soul, my everything

The one I truly adore

Mere men try to lure me away

But there's no one I want more

My friend, my love, my soul mate

To him, I could not lie

For without him, I'd be nothing

I'd wither up and die

All the words in the English language

Couldn't begin to describe my feelings for him

If I ever happened to lose him

My life would look pretty grim

I love him very dearly

Miss him every second he is away

He is so very precious to me

In my heart, he will always stay.

nice and really heartfelt. although the "what did i do to deserve..." part seems a little quaint 'cos i've always seen it used in a bad situation context. but still a great piece of work
