This poem is dedicated to a friend who passed away in high school.

Reality hit us when you died

In our memories, you'll always be there

Caring and sweet were your best qualities

Helping us when we needed you

Crying families and friends hold it together

History class will never be the same

Remembering the times you made us laugh

Innocent lives taken from us so suddenly

Sadly missed forever by Sun Valley

Together we all try and make it through the day

Our lives were touched by your presence

Pictures and memories remind us of you

Hopes and dreams were shattered instantly

Everything has changed: school, family, friends

Rich, we'll always love and miss you.

this is a great poem, im sorry for your loss. i just had 2 friends die last month. both were freshmen in highschool. we all carry grief throughout our lives, but sometimes it comes too soon
