Piano FingersA Poem by ~Dragon XThey're everywhere. The piano and its chair Someone arrives and sits there. Looks around No sound
Hopes he's not found.
With little more ease The fingers brush the keys But he's still scared He no longer dared
But to play, he still cared.
Finally after one last glance atop the stage he took his chance Very, very quiet Hushed as an owlet
Played a sonnet.
The fingers felt more free Willing to play crisply Each note more defined Each finger more inclined
Fingers and keys entwined.
Fingers play mystery, Fingers play history, Fingers play hate, play love and fate,
These piano fingers create.
