Darkness

Light has been overcome by darkness

Engulfed by the shadow of darkness,

Death opens its arms to me.

not as an enemy but as a friend,

the cobbled rode fading from my sight.

The colours of the houses fading from my memory

everything drifting away

just like a distant memory.

Pushed aside by everyone who welcomes me,

but today is the day that It will end

everything will be gone

all my passions and desires

everything will all fade into the darkness.

Thie idea of this is really beautiful. I would just simply put some punctuation to show where the readers is supposed to pause, because I don't really know how I'm supposed to read it. And the word memory is used twice. In a short poem like this I would recommend using the same word more than once so find another word to present your idea.
Otherwise this is a good piece! Well done!
