Love Like A Rose

I was inspired looking at a dead rose in the bathroom.

My love for you is like a rose

With each touch, caress and whisper

It grows beautiful and strong

Yet with a lack of these

The rose grows fragile

It withers and dies 

While you're gone and away

Just like the soil yearning for the rain

So please come back

And help breathe fresh life

Back into my rose of Love
