A Poem by DrSprinkz73

What do you see when you look into his eyes?

That makes you forget.

The blissfull moment as the sun begins to rise

How does he hold you that you forget the lies?

It's not for names but the people that

You swim through fire to reach a purity

But the trees like our once flourished lovers

Are knocked down to make room for renewal,

A dam,

And as we slowly

Rebuild

We deftly

Re-destroy

It isn't from the pain of a thousand heartaches

That we no longer feel hurt

Its from the thousand newly constructed city of angels

that Numb us from

Ancient pain

This, is where we escape

This, is what we now live for

To float toward the gates of heaven

The promises of oaths

Long ago fulfilled

Slowly released you are free to wander

the anti-pote of hell alongside the

Soul of an indestructable Super soldier
