Of Voracity and Mother GooseA Poem by DrSprinkz73She pushes long bleak clouds in front of the visions of passersby
Meekly waiting to see, them shake sleep from their eyes
Then along came a Spider and crawled the shroom right beside her
Swiftly and Surely, like it's said in the book
Calmly waiting for Little Ms Muffet to look
She shivered a curl away from her face pretending
Coy, yet fallen from grace; her innocence descending
Raw laughter at it's worst
From her broad chest echoes burst
"You'll not have your laugh You'll not scare me this way
The children are sleeping; Finished with all scarytales today."
He shook his head in disgust for we know his despise
Towards the curly dumb blonde and so wished her demise
"So stupid are you an ogre-ish silly girl
I just came to ask why you darken their worlds?"
"Hmm well IF you must ask,"
She said quietly
Concentrating the darkness she sent uneasily
"I've stolen a book! Of a witch in a land;
Where live Hanzel and Gretel that get saved by a man."
Eyebrows raised completely puzzled
"Surely this must be a jest of some kind!?"
Silently mumbled (Oh These crazy women Mother Goose sends me to)
"Surely you must have a neurotic brain disease!
What intend you to do with these dark recipes?"
As if gazing through a large vague crystal ball
Looking like a gyspy whose name he can't recall
Low and Steadily as if awaiting these questions
"I'll make them pay for all of their evil indiscretions"
Lesson to be learned by Spider and you tools
Vengeance of pain can be taken by those so-called fools.
