Tormenting Inquiry

Tormenting Inquiry

A Poem by DrSprinkz73

Why Love?

Someone has already done so (to you) before...

Miss?

You're so far gone anyway.

Why need?

Only to want again!

Hate?

...

Why not?

This is certainly different
It reminds me of today's music and Shakespeare
pretty cool

The battle of hate and love, have and have-not... Why love? Because of what you feel when you do. Why not? Because of what you could be missing. It's living and being alive! Nice!

I do like the right border~ it immediatey engages and prepares the reader for something coming at you from a flipped modality~ it gives the opposites push~
love and hate are close relatives~ it has never ceased to amaze me how fast adoration will turn to venom between two who once upon a time were madly devoted to and in love with each other~ I've stopped trying to figure that aspect of humanity out~ anf took a GIANT step back from all that~
excellent poetic presentation~
