![]() To XA Poem by Dr PoetOut on the illogical streets battered by the soul-cleaving wind I had to go, in retreat from the awe desolating my heart and a nature all immersed in the dark.
But as from stark black earth life inexplicably sprouts the stems up till then drowned in the mud, so your eyes cast light on my anguish and reveal a hymn celebrating existence.
Must be work of the Lord what is now humiliating the blue through refined gestures of face and a smile unaware of its grace, as just naturally beauty shows her truth.
In no pondered example of art I have met such a threat to the heart, 'cause sustained by your soothing perfection is relief my own only dimension, but without you -please, no- it's just gruesome desertion. © 2008 Dr PoetReviews
