Random Poem TitleA Poem by Blake McDuffieThe sky darkens, in the distance clocks smash like distant heirlooms. the walls collapse around an everlasting fire constantly fading. The grey approaches and there is no stopping this impending destruction. Hear the smells as our mouths touch the cool surface of cloth. Thirty silver pieces spread over thirty nights. Darkness lights the day as flowers swallow the night. The beginning ends as the end begins. © 2009 Blake McDuffie |
