Wandering Through Space and Numbness

Wandering Through Space and Numbness

A Poem by Blake McDuffie

I can see the walls closing in

but I am stuck outside them

Who is being kept out

the Monsters?

Or me?

The pain pierces me like

A thousand stabbing daggers in the dark

Now I know how Caeser felt

Now I know how Caeser felt

Watch closely as the rain falls down

The river will flood us by Winter

Did you feel the scream that broke the night?

I wonder as I wander...
