A Sigh in the Night

A Sigh in the Night

A Poem by Blake McDuffie

My body shakes as I feel the shadows

Trying to creep into my mind

They feed me lies

And horrible thoughts

The nightmares swirl

And fill my heart to black

My soul is withering with the fear

A fear I can no longer deny

Is in fact reality

Nicely done!
I really like it, it's short but has a punch to it and to fear is to feel it's only natural. :)
