Take the memories with you now

Take the memories with you now

A Poem by Dr. Kittin

Take the memories with you now

the pain, the sorrow, the hate

take the cruel and unkind words

shared in our debates

take the love and kindness, too

take them, hold them close to you

and someday in the future, please

give them, send them back to me

let me have those memories

if only in my dreams

I think the title of this poem is redundant. I would suggest just leaving it untitled and using the first line as the poems title
