SnowA Poem by Dr. KittinA poem that I wrote a few years ago during winter. ^.^From the sky fall tiny flakes Frozen beauties of this day and age Softly landing on grass not green Leading to wonderlands, white and unseen Frozen breath formes in air Tiny white spectacles fall on hair Coats are buttoned up high and tight To avoid winter's harshest bite Harsh winds carry bitter chills Along powdered roadways and rolling hills Whipping up swirling, clouds of white Amongst the darker, starlit sky Celebration; Joy's descend Through stories told and family trends Cozy fires by dark, blue nights Watch the flames jump, high and bright Warm soft beds breed comfort true For trips to dreams that breath fantasies hue And as these wonders swirl and flow The world will awaken to the glistening snow. © 2011 Dr. Kittin |
