Art expressed in words.

Art expressed in words.

A Poem by Douglas Holden

The first
Best
Worst
scenario?

Here is art in words
Drawn from perceptions in
Timelessness
Faded
bewildered
Tamed demons

Release me from this uncertainty?

Where is my day?
My 15 minutes of fame?
If?
Could it be so?

Reckless and stranded amid this plane?
A corridor as a way to find?
The self with my lady
Our pooch and our house
Wilderness
Creek
Solitude

Perfection in blissfulness
Be well
First
Last
And all in between.

An interesting piece that appears to meander in its torturous soul searching as does the protagonist. The frustration of remaining unfulfilled, unrecognised.
