Faces in the Theater

Faces in the Theater

A Poem by Laura Judith
"

I was looking around at the people backstage for the school play, "I Never Saw Another Butterfly." I wasn't in it, but I was part of stage crew.

"
Hair, pinned up high on top of her head- waiting to be curled.
A bitter expression sits on her face,- waiting for it to start.

Walet, opened up, looking for money- money for flowers tonight
A board expression on his face, waiting for it to be over.

Sitting, gossipping with her friends- of things related to school.
A nasty expression on her face- it's just something to do.

Always a smile- of joy- sits apon her face,
Loving to be here, one family.
She wishes it will never end.

Beautiful! Some spelling mistakes, but that's alright. This was really nice.
