Embodiment of TextA Poem by Laura JudithWhen writing comes to life... 2012
She slips her feet into the
cool feel of the comma and period, carefully placing each in its predetermined point in her mind. Her thighs and torso are wrapped in the superfluous adjectives that create the illusion of symbolism that appeals to all ages, shapes and sizes, and give off an appeal that is so very hard to obtain. Piled on her chest are many lavish verbs with twinkling adverbs, creasing around her bosom so no literal action is left to consider, but one must still cogitate the meaning behind the unrestrained words. Her neck is adorned with all those little words that mean so much. All the pronouns, conjunctions, and atop the bunch is a jutting interjection of a chin. On her head rests a handsome bow lined with exclamation and tied with a petite question mark. She walks out the door for all the world to see, and if one would just look closely, one can almost see inside of her, all the mechanisms and glitches that are just a part of being alive. © 2014 Laura JudithAuthor's Note
