A Unique Rose

A Unique Rose

A Poem by Kavern Laurenitis

What a rose,
That oh so beautiful rose.
It's not black,
Nor white nor red,
Nor any color in the spectrum.
It's unique, unlike the others.

It's a rose you just
Can't quite describe.
Gaze upon its majesty,
Poised, wrapping around that rock.
Its shape ostensible to the eyes
but cloaked to the mouth.

Its purpose crystal,
Why is it here?
The crystal is clear,
Why not there?
Ethereal, light,
Is it ripe to pick?

Admire its beauty
From afar.
Allow no tears,
Let it be.
It may be the only unique rose
Anyone will see.
