Greece

"

Sammy's first mission is easy, well it's supposed to be anyway.

I sat on the planes squished between Tommy and a fat old man who reeked of too much alcohol and sweat. We had been on the plane for less than an hour and already Georgia was asleep and Tommy had his eyes closed and was listening to his music. Mum had purposely sat us three together she said it was so we could ‘get to know each other’s tactics’. Georgia and I knew each other already and Tommy had asked loads of questions and then stopped saying that he knew all that he needed too. Mum, Felicity, Lucy and Maddie were all siting somewhere else in the first class section of the plane. I knew we still had two hours left so I plugged in my head phones and tried to get some sleep.

I awoke with a bump as the plane landed and Tommy gently shook my shoulders to wake me up. He grabbed my bag from the holdalls above our heads and passed it too me making sure I hadn’t gone back to sleep. He seemed far too awake. We stumbled off the plane and walked over to Mum and my sisters. She had a gold envelope in her hands. She handed it to Maddie and said “All the details you need are in the envelope. Lucy has all the equipment. Here is the address of the hotel. You have 2 days.” She gave Tommy a piece of paper with an address and walked off, blending into the crowd.  “Right” Tommy said getting every ones attention “51 Beach Street, that’s where the hotel is.” He started off making his way through the small Airport system. I didn’t have a clue where we were going. We had been based in a small town called Lefkochoma and we didn’t know why. We all agreed that we wouldn’t open the envelope until we got to the Hotel. We all followed after Tommy making sure we didn’t lose him. He seemed to know where he was going and if he didn’t I was going to blame him.

We arrived at the Hotel about an hour after we arrived. It hadn’t been that hard to find and Tommy knew the way. He told us he has been to Greece on a family holiday and it just so happened that they came to Lefkochoma. We set up camp in Lucy and Felicity’s bedroom as it was the biggest. Lucy was a little whiz kid and knew everything you could about computers. Mum and Dad had brought her a whole new set of equipment for her 18th birthday. It had tracking devices, communicators, information about EVERYTHING!, and so much more that we hadn’t even used yet.

When she was finished we opened the envelope. It read;

Your mission, if you choose to accept it is;

                        Go to the nearest English Bank,

                        Dressed as Nicola Adams,

                        Take out all the money from her account,

                        And spend it in the nearby shops,

                        I want you to buy me - 12 different souvenirs,

                        A packet of the most expensive sweets you can

find,

                        A boat,

3 airplane tickets to South Africa, Indonesia and

America,

                        A new wardrobe of clothes for later missions

(you will wear whatever you buy),

                        And a new house,

                        All of this needs to be completed by 7o’clock

tomorrow night.

We read it through a couple of times making sure we knew what we were doing, it was our hardest mission yet. In the envelope along with the note were bank account details, a picture of Nicola Adams, all the information we could need about her and money to spend on our needs - food. We decided that the first thing we did was to go and take the money out of Nicola Adams account and find out how much we had to spend. Reading the information about Nicola Adams we learnt that she was 26 with had long brown hair with hazel/green eyes. She was average height and wore REALLY, expensive clothes. It turned out that I looked the most like Nicola Adams so I was the one that was going to the bank. Mum had packed an extra suitcase with all the disguises we would need. We picked out a long flowing turquoise skirt and a white tank top with a sheepskin shoal and open-toe heels.

We all got given a communicator and tested them out to make sure they were working. Tommy, Georgia, Felicity and Maddie were all going to come with me but we wouldn’t be a group - all separate, wearing different style of clothing not even making eye contact. I would go and get the money, Tommy was going to be dressed as an old man sitting in the bank staring at the clock watching it go round, Georgia and Maddie were going to be position outside dressed as gangsters and hanging around with the nearest gang and Felicity was going to be a Mum pushing a pram with no baby.

When we were all ready we set off at different times and going different ways. Tommy left first so he could get to the bank first. He looked really comical - a muscular old man with overly grey eyebrows and a walking stick that was far too short. Felicity had to go and buy a pram so she went next dressed in a dress and flip-flops. Then it was my turn. I knew the routine  but I was still nervous.

I got to the bank just on time. I walked through the swinging doors removing the sunglasses from my nose and looked in Tommy’s direction earning myself a wink and a small smile. I marched up to the receptionist and started talking to her; “Hello, my name is Nicola Adams, I have come to receive all of my money from my account and close it down please.” I said trying to cover up my English accent. It had said on her report that she was from Britain but her accent was faded. The woman started typing away at her computer. “What is your bank account name please?” she asked her head titled just enough to see me and the computer screen. “Miss Nicola Adams”

“And your pin?”

“6773”

“And how much money do you have in your account?”

“I’m not too sure…” I said panicking, suddenly I remembered that Nicola Adams had a habit of gambling “I have been gambling recently and won a house so I am moving.” The woman seemed to believe me and to my luck the account details said that she had been gambling recently too! I got the money without too much fuss and walked out the bank with a slight glow on my cheeks. I turned on my communicator and said; “Mission complete, going back to bass.” I walked away from the bank as normally as I could.
