The North Star

The North Star

A Poem by Lonesome Traveler
"

Those three people...

"

I wonder if she knows?

Sharpened senses, second child.

Felt all of this a time before

same desperation, less riled.

I wonder if she knows?

Or dismisses, a wordless face.

Empathy she never imagined

we have both born that mace.

I wonder if she knows?

Or sees nothing but life.

Striking up chords, sad melodies

they briefly placate our strife.

touching but charming, well expressed, I always enjoy the questions in poems.
