"

The game "That's Not My Neighbor" introduces players to a suspenseful horror experience. You must monitor and verify the identities of residents entering and exiting an apartment building.

"
In this game, doppelgangers are entities capable of assuming human identities, posing a significant threat. Players must meticulously follow a series of steps to distinguish between genuine residents and doppelgangers. This includes checking identification documents, verifying personal details, and comparing physical appearances.

There are two types of doppelgangers: incomplete ones with monstrous deformities, and perfect ones that closely resemble their counterparts. Identifying perfect doppelgangers requires sharp observation and reasoning skills, often involving detailed scrutiny of personal information and interaction with the suspected individual.

The game is set in a fictional 1950s totalitarian environment plagued by a doppelganger crisis. The DDD (Doppelganger Detection Department) plays a pivotal role, employing Henry and overseeing operations. Despite the inherent dangers of the job, including potential death if a doppelganger infiltrates, the organization's motives and actions remain mysterious and potentially sinister. There are hints that DDD might be conducting experiments or research involving doppelgangers for their own undisclosed purposes.
