Destiny?

Watch as it transcends through the universe
Untouched.
Intangible, yet it hurts so delicately,
That it is almost enjoyable.
Perhaps the best way to escape
The pain is avoid it altogether.

Is it worth it?

Time works the same way-
Moving through eternity, day by day
As an unstoppable force.
It can be slowed down and sped up
But never stopped.
You can try to control it
But you'll never win. It's
Undefeated.

So why do we always try
To tamper with destiny?
