Under Consent of the King

Do you want to earn a pension for lifetime by working only five years in your life? Here is the recipe. Join a political party and try to win the elections. Do not worry, it is not too much complicated. The ones who already won are a way less competent than you, just look at the country! What happens every day in this country and leaves people atwitter couldn’t happen in other parts of the world. Can you imagine a minister showing up and mocking all the spectators?  A decent nation would not accept this.

“Where does my money go?” is a legitimate question, and all the people have the right to know where the income tax goes to. National defense? No, we are far away from being an industrial nation. We let our enemy do the job for us. Health care? Fewer than the third of the population have health insurance. Look at the hospitals, look closely how patients and sick people struggle inside. Income security? I went too far... We didn't climb that ladder yet. To insure an income for those who are in need is still an utopia. Education and job training? We are at the bottom when it comes to Education. The illiteracy rates remain too high despite the “efforts” the government is doing to reach the rural parts of the country. The education our children get at school is not good enough to come up with good profiles that can take the torch and lead. So where does my money go? Energy and Environment development? OK, let's say that some of my money goes to water and land management, how much money? I need to know. It's mine after all. However, I gave it to some dimwits. I am to blame. International affairs? We don't do the humanitarian thing, we have a war inside, a war against all those social diseases, a war we are losing. Oh yes! We do interfere, we are too nosy. We go and kill innocent people so to protect others from the “spillover of the instability in Yemen”. Where does my money go? We need an answer. It is burning inside everyone's chest. Space and Technology? Hello!!!  

In the other side of the world, you have constant access to information. You know where, when and how the money will be spent. And you see the change around you, you feel that you, as a citizen, have contributed to your country's prosperity. In those parts of the world, the revelation that some of the income tax goes on benefits will fire all the alarms and those who got a hay will be sacked and kept at bay.  

It is ridiculous to think that this government will easily solve this issue by depriving themselves from a lifetime pension. The king offered them that luxury for some reason. This should not last forever. It is against all ethics.  

This is not fornication gentlemen. This is rape. And it is Rape Under Consent of the King.
