Unsure

Unsure

A Poem by Dorian Faust
"

A rough draft. Still needs editing.

"
You made me feel like this,
like there is nothing else in all existence,
I can't help but hear your words,
"your nothing to me but a burden left unturned."

We come together in this place
made of hearts broken and disgraced
brought to our knees by our pain,
two worlds so different yet very much the same,

I couldn't tell you what you needed to hear,
all the words I wanted to make clear
and still there is no other way
I must turn around and walk away,

we come together in this place
made of hearts broken and disgraced
brought to our knees by our pain,
two worlds so different yet very much the same,

You looked into my eyes,
saw something empty and despised,
you turned from me and laughed til I cried,
never knowing how that made me die,

but now we stand toe to toe
no excuse no where to go,
we stand divided by our differences
our past breaking way to diverse distances,

we come together in this place
made of hearts broken and disgraced,
brought to our knees by our pain
two worlds so different yet very much the same.

I'm just an ordinary guy trying to convey thoughts, feelings, and ideas into words on paper. It is my hope that I can paint a picture with words where I normally could not with a brush. Yes I am a c.. more..
