~MANYMOONS & SKYWALKER~ BY:DORI L.M.

A Poem by Dori Maschke
"

This a poem that is about a youg woman remembering about her past live in the time when the Natives Americans where the only ones here. She whonder if she is dreaming this.

"

Remembering a time long ago before I was even me,

Back to a time when Native American's roam the land.

I remember coming out of a Teepee so big and beautiful,

Right a long the door way were many hand prints.

It was a clear bright summer day and a fresh clean smell as well,

The streams are flowing so quitely that you hear the fish swimming.

Someone,a man comes up behind me and calls me Many Moons,

I see before me many mountains I am still not sure where I am.

Walking in a green valley where the wild flowers grow,

I remember a name of a man Sky Walker could he be the one that I am with?

How can I remember a life when I was never there?

Could it be mine or could it be of this Many Moons come to haunt me?
