Der Letzen Tag

Der Letzen Tag

A Poem by Dord

Ash descends from the melted sky
I can't feel my nose from my eye
Where is time today?
Last I checked it was May.

Light breaks the walls
Sound blinds the eye
No hero is called
Only yesterday I learned how to die.

The children can't read
None can understand their own creed
Veils cover their faces
I hear the crashing of a thousand vases.

I saw God today
She said she'd write me next May
Time is all but surreal
It's something I can really feel.

I sit in the shop
Watching everything come to a stop
Bombs fall like flies
Everything I touch seems to die.
