Balance

Balance

A Poem by Dord

Blue specks all around
Coldness fills the space above
Air crisp and tranquil
Shades of warm and even
Surround my decrepit float
Dancing and praying
Old and new live life
Safe from distraught and despair
Playing cheerfully
Nothing fills the brain
Time goes on until death
Love is an old thought
The silent old plane
Full of new experience
Ends as dusk enters

In a way, it is scattered thoughts which would mane sense since the speaker's mind is probably jumping from thought to thought cancelling everything out from space to space. War is hell as they say and leaves one contemplating with more detail than usual. I thought this was good. The ending could mean a crash or just another batch of men leaving.
